If you are in Montauk during the weekends before the holidays, please check TKH out at the Montauk “Handmade for the Holidays” Fair every Saturday and Sunday 11am-5pm. We are in good company with a variety of local Montauk artists, artisans and makers.
The Knot House!
I have admired this artist work since an art fair last summer. She creates her prints by Gyotaku (Japanese 魚拓, from gyo “fish” + taku “rubbing”). A traditional form of Japanese fish printing or rubbing, dating from the mid-19th century, a form of nature printing used by fishermen to record their catches.
We also purchased Josephines Feast Rubs from the Farmers Market and have enjoyed her spice combos on the grill.
These hand knit sweaters were so adorable and I was so tempted to buy one.
